- Access the album directly by streaming it in the browser, downloading it, or opening it on their preferred streaming service
- View the full track list or lyrics from the original CD
- Take artist-related quizzes or watch exclusive video content
Results
- Successful rollout of a new, chart-eligible music format
- Strong community building and audience development (newsletter sign-ups)
- Empowers collection of first-party data of fans – which labels lack when products are sold through third-party retailers or are gifted to someone

Sell Before Release – Chart When the Album Drops
Montez, one of Germany's leading hip hop artists, used ZATAP's technology to create an NFC Mini CD for his new album "So ist das mit dem Glück". Instead of shipping a finished album, the Mini CD was sold on tour before the album was released. The experience contained a personal message from Montez, a video promoting the new album, and a countdown to the release date on August 21st.
